Yakuza is a series of open-world beat-'em-up action RPGs. They are single-player crime dramas whose plotlines are inspired by yakuza films. They feature random battles (much like many older RPGs from the 1980s and 1990s) and numerous mini-games.

Trophy-wise, Yakuza games are reasonably challenging, and they require a significant time investment (typically somewhere between 60 and 120 hours) to platinum.
