The P-51 Mustang was the most iconic fighter of the United States Army Air Force. With the range to escort bombers all the way from England to targets in Germany and able to meet any piston engined enemy fighter on at least an even footing, the Mustang was one of the most successful fighters of WWII. The D series is the most produced model with a top speed of over 690 km/h (430 mph). The D-20 modification is armed with six 0.50 machineguns and has an option to install bombs or rockets.
