PlatPrices for iPhone & Android

The free PlatPrices app tracks PlayStation Store prices so you can tell whether today’s discount is actually a good one. Every PS4 and PS5 price is measured against that game’s own history — so when a game says it is 60% off, the app tells you whether that is the lowest it has ever been, or the same sale that already ran three months ago.

For iPhone and Android · no account required to browse deals, price history or trophies · nothing is sold inside the app.

PlatPrices app on iPhone: a list of PlayStation Store deals showing each game’s sale price, its old price and how far below its all-time low it has fallen.

What the app does

Every deal, sorted your way

Everything on sale in your store, ordered by popularity, discount, price or how soon the sale ends. Filter by platform, genre, price, trophy difficulty and completion time.

Price history Unique

Every game page shows what it has cost over time, its all-time low, and how long the current price has been in place — not a fake “was/now”.

Wishlist & price alerts

Add a game, name the price you would actually pay for it, and get a notification the moment it drops that far in your own store.

Region compare

The same game costs different amounts in different PlayStation Stores. The app shows where it is cheapest, converted into your own currency.

Trophies & platinums

Difficulty, time to platinum and the full trophy list, built from data gathered across thousands of real trophy lists.

Frequently asked questions

Is the PlatPrices app free?
Yes. The app is free to download and free to use. There is no in-app purchase, no subscription sold inside the app, and nothing is locked behind a paywall. Deals, price history, region comparison and trophy data all work without paying anything.
Do I need an account to use it?
No. Deals, game pages, price history, region comparison and trophy data all work signed out. A free account only adds the wishlist, price alerts and your PlayStation library. You can sign in with Apple, Google, Discord, or an e-mail address and password.
Which phones does it work on?
Both. PlatPrices is on the App Store for iPhone and on Google Play for Android, and it is the same app with the same features on either one. Your wishlist, price alerts and settings follow your free PlatPrices account, so you can sign in on a new phone and pick up exactly where you left off, including on the website.
How does it know whether a discount is actually good?
PlatPrices has logged PlayStation Store prices across 47 PSN regions since November 2020, over 20 million price points. Every discount in the app is measured against that game’s own recorded history, so a game advertised at 60 percent off is labelled as an all-time low only when it really is one, and not when it is the same sale that already ran three months ago.
What are price alerts?
Add a game to your wishlist, name the price you would actually pay for it, and the app sends you a notification when the PlayStation Store price falls that far. The alert follows your own store region, so the price you are told about is the price you would be charged.
What does region compare do?
The same game costs different amounts in different PlayStation Stores. The app checks the other PSN regions and shows where the game is cheapest, converted into your own currency, so you can see the gap before deciding whether it is worth buying from another store.
Can I buy games in the app?
No. Nothing is sold inside the app. PlatPrices is a price tracker: it tells you what a game costs and whether now is a good time, and buying always happens on the PlayStation Store itself.
Is PlatPrices affiliated with Sony?
No. PlatPrices is an independent project. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Sony Interactive Entertainment. “PlayStation”, “PS4” and “PS5” are trademarks of their respective owners and are used here for identification only.

Prefer the browser? Everything the app shows also lives on PlatPrices: browse PlayStation games on sale, the all-region deals feed or the biggest discounts right now, and check any title’s full price history and all-time low. On desktop, the free browser extension puts the same price history on the PS Store itself. Building something yourself? See the PlayStation Store API.
